Danger Den – “Daisy”

Available August 22 on all streaming platforms.

Straight outta Darwin and now into Melbourne. Aussie pop-punk band, Danger Den are back at it with their new single “Daisy,” and it’s a cheeky, emotionally charged fkn’ belter that punches you in the nostalgia while dragging you through a messy as hell love triangle.

Sonically, it’s got all the hallmarks of that golden-era pop punk we secretly (or not so secretly) still blast in the car. Think New Found Glory after too many Red Bulls, or Blink-182 if they worked in HR. The guitars crunch, the drums thump like a hangover, and frontman Jeremy Uyloan’s vocals tear through the chorus like a man airing out workplace trauma in real time.

Inspired by a real story of two mates falling for the same co-worker — the ever elusive Daisy, the track balances angst and humour with that classic “oh shit, this is actually real” energy. Uyloan calls it “Jessie’s Girl’s pop punk cousin” and honestly, he’s not wrong. It’s catchy as hell, a little bit tragic, and guaranteed to have you singing along like you’re 17 and heartbroken at a Macca’s after formal.

But don’t let the cheeky vibe fool you, under the surface, “Daisy” dives into themes of jealousy, vulnerability, and the shitstorm of emotions that come when friendship and lust collide. It’s honest, raw, and tight as a drum.

Danger Den has already racked up a few wins — NT Music Awards finalists, national tour supports, and a growing fanbase who know every word. “Daisy” isn’t just another track. It’s a declaration that this crew know how to turn real life chaos into something loud, relatable, and bloody fun.

In a genre where sincerity can get buried under cliché, Danger Den keep it fkn real, and “Daisy” is proof they’re only getting sharper.
