FALTER – “Invisible Monsters”
Independent Release
Falter is the kind of project that punches you in the chest and then hands you the mic to scream back. Created by Ngarrindjeri singer/songwriter Thomas Readett, “Invisible Monsters” is five tracks of pure emotional chaos. Raw, loud, and unapologetically fucked up in all the best ways.
Right out the gate, Break Me Down kicks the door off its hinges. Heavy guitars crash like a panic attack, while Readett’s vocals rip through everything - part confession, part breakdown, part primal scream. Suffocating and Only to Blame drag you deep into the shitstorm of anxiety, guilt, and self-doubt, and IDC is basically the musical equivalent of flipping off your ex, your boss, and your inner demons all at once.
And then there’s Hear Me, an emotional gut punch that feels like screaming into a void and finally hearing an echo. It’s the sound of someone who’s been to hell and back, still bleeding, still pissed off, but somehow still standing.
Make no mistake, this isn’t some polished, label-friendly bullshit. “Invisible Monsters” is DIY, it’s dirty, and it’s got more emotional baggage than your last three Tinder dates combined. It’s for fans of nu-metal who don’t just want breakdowns, they want breakdowns that mean something.
Live, Falter brings the fucking heat. Supporting legends like Wednesday 13, Powerman 5000, and (hed) PE with the kind of energy that makes you feel like you’re either about to mosh or cry… or both. Honestly, if emotional trauma had a soundtrack, this would be it.
… and it’d slap.
Standout Tracks: Break Me Down, IDC, Hear Me
For fans of: Nu-metal, emotional honesty, and music that hits harder than your dad’s belt in the ’90s.
