“Riot” - STORM THE CROWN

Adelaide's metalcore monsters STORM THE CROWN are back with a fuckin' belter. Their new single Riot doesn't tiptoe politely into the room, it kicks the door down, screams in your face, and sets the place on fire just for fun.

Coming off the high of supporting metalcore legends Bleeding Through (no biggie), Riot proves these guys aren't here to fuck 'round.

This track is a brutal, riff-laden throwdown with enough punch to make your grandma two-step in the nursing home. And let's talk about those vocals - the switch between throat shredding growls and surprisingly silky clean parts is smoother than your mate Dave's dodgy fade from the barber.

If you're into early Killswitch Engage but always thought, "hmm, needs more chaos," then Riot is your jam. And just when you think it's easing off, STC hit you with a breakdown so filthy it should come with a health warning.

Riot is a no-bullshit statement from a band that clearly has no plans to slow down. Crank it, break stuff (responsibly), and maybe scream into the void for good measure.
